VRアート、絵画、映像、インスタレーション、デジタルアート、陶芸など異なる素材を組み合わせたミクストメディア作品を制作しています。特にVRアートでは仮想空間だからこそ可能な精神世界の視覚化に力を入れています。

1987年からアートビジネスに携わる中で、2013年に大きな転機が訪れました。高野山傳燈大阿闍梨・密教学者・種智院大学名誉教授の山崎泰廣住職とともに5年をかけて取り組んだマンダラ制作の経験です。山﨑住職から学んだ「感性」と「論理」の両部不二の考え方は、制作活動だけでなく私の人生全般においても指針となっています。

展示会では、まず精神世界や物事の深層について直感と感覚をもとに仮説を立て、次に研究者や神職僧侶の知見、専門書、古史口伝などを総合的に検証しアート作品にして国内外で発表しています。

2025年には、🔗展示会「縄文のアニミズムとシャーマニズム」を開催する予定です。

古代の人々は、私たちが自然の一部であることを認識し、自然がもたらす恩恵も恐怖もすべてを受け入れて、感謝と祈りと畏怖の中で暮らしていたのではないでしょうか。そして、すべての生き物に対して自利利他の精神を持って共生していたと私は考えています。しかし、現代社会は精神文明をなおざりにし、物質文明に偏りがちで略奪と破壊を繰り返しています。さらに、気候変動による災害が増加する中で、私たちの苦しみは深まっているように感じます。

展示会を通して、今一度、古代の縄文人の精神世界について共に考える機会を持つことができれば、と思っています。

I create mixed media works that combine different materials such as VR art, painting, video, installation, digital art, ceramics, etc. In particular, in VR art, I focus on visualizing the spiritual world that is possible only in virtual space.​

While I have been involved in the art business since 1987, a major turning point came in 2013.

It was the experience of working for five years on creating a mandala with the head priest Taiko Yamasaki, a priest of Koyasan Dento Daiajari, a scholar of esoteric Buddhism, and a professor emeritus at Shuchiin University. The idea of ​​the two parts of "sensitivity" and "logic" that I learned from the head priest at that time has become a guideline not only for my creative work but also for my life in general.

At the exhibition, I first formulate a hypothesis about the spiritual world and the depths of things based on my intuition and senses, then I comprehensively verifying the knowledge of researchers and priests, specialized books, oral history, etc., and then I create art and present it both domestically and internationally.

In 2025, I plan to hold an 🔗 Exhibition "Jomon Animism and Shamanism"  both in Japan and abroad.

I believe that ancient people recognized that we are part of nature, accepted all the blessings and fears that nature brings, and lived in gratitude, prayer, and awe. I believe that they coexisted with all living things with a spirit of self-interest and altruism. However, modern society has neglected spiritual civilization and tends to be biased toward material civilization, repeating plunder and destruction. Furthermore, as disasters caused by climate change increase, it seems that our suffering is deepening.

I hope that through the exhibition, we can once again have an opportunity to think together about the spiritual world of the ancient Jomon people.
